"I use pinhole photography to create an alternate reality; as if I am spying on the world from another dimension’s perspective.  Through a pinhole light can bend around the most mundane scene in a way that makes it special.  I believe that, because I am a self-taught photographer, my work reflects the raw experimentation that is used throughout my process.  Despite my superficial pop-art sensibility, there is genuine emotion and meaning just beneath the surface, much of which comes from my sincere spiritual love of music.  It is my goal as an artist to make people think about something they never thought about before."

Kristopher Sebring is a Pennsylvania-based intuitive artist specializing lensless photography.  He grew up in a sleepy riverside town in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania (USA) where he started tinkering and creating at a young age.  By high school his bedroom walls and ceiling were covered in surreal paintings that he made during bouts of insomnia or anxiety.  Into adulthood, that creative poison makes him as restless as ever.  While his photography work ranges from benign landscapes to psychedelic abstracts it all harnesses light in unexpected and sometimes uncomfortable ways.  Kris currently lives in Nazareth, Pennsylvania with his daughter and cat.
